Information Technology Group
The College of Chemical and Life Sciences has a highly diversified technology infrastructure. With over 1500 workstations (approximately: 60% PC, 35% Mac, 5% UNIX), a support structure is required which is both flexible and team-oriented.
The College of Chemical & Life Sciences Information Technology Group (CLFS-ITG) , which is comprised of all technical support support staff within the College, seeks to leverage the benefits of both a dispersed and a centralized organization. In addition, we have established several partnerships and agreements with IT vendors and other support groups to assist us with supporting the wide range of technologies that exist in the College.
The goals of the CLFS Information Technology Group (CLFS-ITG) are twofold:
- To provide effective technical support services to The College of Chemical and Life Sciences.
- To assist with direction, acquisition, and use of the technological tools that further the success of the College in research, teaching, and administration.
