Research Interests

Research in my laboratory is concentrated on the study of ecological and evolutionary relationships among plant structure, function, and the environment. I am particularly interested in plant response to stress, plant water relations, photosynthetic adaptation to the environment and rapid leaf movements. Research in my lab includes plant response to global change, hydraulic architecture of plants, and the relationship between individual plant response and population structure.
