Shaping and Reframing the World
If you are dedicated to studying life sciences and prepared for rigorous coursework, then the Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences is the program for you. With comprehensive coursework; challenging labs and hands on applications in this undergraduate program, you can prepare yourself for higher studies in specialized fields such as Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Optometry, Veterinary Medicine, and Public Health. In addition, you can use this degree as a stepping stone for research or development in the biotechnology industry.
The Program: Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences
The College of Chemical and Life Sciences at the University of Maryland offers a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in biological sciences at the Universities at Shady Grove (USG). Admission is competitive and limited to students who have completed the prerequisite coursework. All classes are held at the Universities at Shady Grove in Montgomery County, Maryland and are taught by the exceptional College Park faculty.
